These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Junior Baking Academy's Website, located at www.juniorbakingacademy.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Junior Baking Academy if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. Please ensure that you read our terms and conditions carefully prior to purchasing a baking box, a product or booking an in-person or on-line class.

 

BAKING BOX (Junior Baking Box)


Kindly take the time to read our Terms & Conditions. By interacting with our website, purchasing a product and/or subscribing to our subscription service you agree to the cancellation policy and all the terms and conditions on this website.

 

FAULTY ITEM

At Junior Baking Academy customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

If you receive a product in your box that is damaged, please email us within 24 hours of receiving your product with photographic evidence and we will either exchange the product or provide a store credit. (A store credit or exchange is at the discretion of Junior Baking Academy and is dependent on the type of issue and product. Items are only replaced if they are damaged or deemed unsafe).

REFUNDS

Kindly note that we do not accept returns or exchanges due to a change of mind. Junior Baking Academy does not offer refunds. Our products are part of a baking box and therefore we do not refund if you do not like a product included in your baking box.

CONSUMPTION OF PRODUCTS

​While we try and ensure that all products included in our baking boxes are child safe/ suitable it is your responsibility as a customer and consumer to ensure that the product is suitable and safe for your children's use & consumption. With a variety of dietary requirements and food allergies, it is the responsibility of the customer (you) to ensure the food they are consuming is safe for them and their unique requirements. 

 

STUDENT SAFETY & PARTICIPATION 

​Due to the nature of each baking box contents being used in a kitchen environment, it is extremely important that all children are supervised at all times by a responsible adult. 

It is the parents/guardians' responsibility to ensure children are safe and follow the instructions of the recipe and tools used.  

We wish to ensure that all participants have the most enjoyable experience using our boxes every time.

 

MONTHLY COMMUNITY CALLS (SUBSCRIPTION BOX MEMBERS ONLY)

Junior Baking Academy where possible will hold mini monthly calls/ online sessions with the members of the community who have subscribed to our baking box subscription.  The calls are is NOT applicable to single purchases of our boxes. The time and date of this call will vary on a monthly basis and will be dependent on the theme of the month and community engagement. It is the parent/guardians' responsibility to ensure their child checks in if they wish. Classes/calls will not be made up as this is an extra 'fun' monthly add-on.

BAKING CLASSES:

RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

When participating in a baking class or event where the students or participants will be around or using sharp and potentially dangerous tools suitable to a kitchen environment, the student releases indemnifies and excludes  Junior Baking Academy and its employees from any and/or liability of any kind for any damage or injury incurred while attending or visiting Junior Baking Academy. (It is extremely important that parents supervise their children at all times, especially when using sharp objects such as knives and peelers).

​1. It is the parents'/guardians' responsibility to ensure that your child is physically capable of participating and does not suffer from any medical condition that would prevent them from safely participating in a baking class. 

​

2. The student/participant/ parent/ guardian understands these terms and conditions and accepts the inherent risks of a kitchen environment when they make a full payment for a class or event.

​

Junior Baking Academy is not responsible for the students' safety prior to or after a class or workshop/event.

Junior Baking Academy holds no responsibility for your child's welfare before they enter our class and after they leave our class.

DAMAGE/LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY:

Junior Baking Academy will take all necessary care but accepts no responsibility for the damage to or loss of merchandise or private belongings left in the venue prior to, during or after a class or workshop/event. Junior Baking Academy is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items in any form. If a student does happen to leave an item in class, the student has 7 days to retrieve the item at their own expense; otherwise, Junior Baking Academy will donate it to charity.

DAMAGE/LOSS of JUNIOR BAKING ACADEMY PROPERTY:

The student or parents/ guardian may be held financially responsible for any damage to or loss of Junior Baking Academy and the venue at which the class is held during the class or event. The cost of repairing any damage to walls, doors or other parts of the property as a result of inappropriate conduct will be charged to the parent/ guardian involved.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Junior Baking Academy may take photographs, digital images, video, and audio recordings during the class, which may include you and your child for use in publications, newsletters, campaigns, websites, social media platforms, other related methods of promotion, any future edition and variations of the above, and both electronic and printed formats of the above. 

Kindly advise us prior to the class if you do not consent to the above photography terms & conditions.

WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA:

Junior Baking Academy's social media channels & this website is owned and operated by Junior Baking Academy. By using this website, you are subject to our terms and conditions.
